Jobs for young people

Specific aims:

• To provide employment opportunities to young people who are committed to their community and its development.

To take advantage of reserves of human capital with higher education, in order to lead productive projects in their own communities and thus help to create jobs and encourage community development.

in Fundación Andar, we believe that providing young people with education is a basic prerequisite of sustainable community development. Hence, we have signed agreements with various higher-education institutions to employ recent graduates from certain disciplines (see appendix) in their own communities, thus maximizing the impact of the projects being developed in the said communities.

The program applies to certain students from the said institutions, who wish to go back to their communities and use the knowledge they have acquired during their years of study for the latter’s benefit. Fundación Andar employs these young people, paying them a decent salary, for the purpose of leading the productive projects in their community and supporting them with consultancy.
